1. Flight to Bodø: The quickest route is to fly from Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) to Bodø Airport (BOO), taking around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2. Ferry from Bodø to Moskenes: From Bodø, take the ferry to Moskenes, which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Ensure you check the ferry schedule in advance for the most accurate timing.
3. Drive from Moskenes to Reine: From the Moskenes Ferry Terminal, it’s a short 7 km drive (about 10 minutes) to Rostad Retro Rorbuer in Reine. You can either bring a rental car from Moskenes or Leknes.

Alternative Route – Driving from Oslo

• If you prefer a road trip, you can drive from Oslo to Lofoten, covering around 1,200 km and passing through picturesque landscapes along the E6 route. Plan for a journey time of 18-20 hours. From Bodø, you would still need to take the ferry to Moskenes.

Additional Travel Tips

• Ferry: After arriving in Moskenes by ferry, follow E10 towards Svolvær, then turn right after Sakrisøya.
• Hurtigruten Coastal Steamer: You can also board Hurtigruten at Stamsund, 70 km from your destination.
• Bus: Get off at Olenilsøya bus stop; it’s just a 100 m walk from there.
• Car from Leknes: If coming from Leknes, cross the Hamnøy bridge and turn left to reach Rostad Retro Rorbuer.
• Weekly Flights: There are also weekly flights to nearby airports in Leknes, Svolvær, Bodø, Tromsø, and Stokmarknes.
